Red Timber Boarwood Duck Call

This call was a showstopper out of the box... and sounding as good as you'd expect, I was extremely happy I purchased!

For the money this is very disappointing. The call seems as if someone who knows nothing about duck calls assembled it from pre made, mass produced parts. The finish is bad and gummed up inside and outside of barrel in places. The reed was nowhere near centered, the cork is sloppily trimmed and not cleaned up almost as if it was punched out instead of cut. The material is cool but for the money I’d go another route for sure. I wanted to love it but it’s bad craftsmanship in a fancy package. Too expensive and less ducky than many other cutdowns but not really a showpiece either due to sloppy manufacturing.
