Tomahawk SB Cutdown Duck Call
Sound File
New from 737 Duck Calls, the Short Barrel Cutdown is built for hunters who want more control without sacrificing power. Measuring 30% shorter than the original Tomahawk, this compact call delivers impressive bottom-end hold and a deep, whiny low end that shines in close-range, high-pressure situations. The shorter frame makes it easier to run, especially for callers who prefer finesse and feel. Whether you’re working tight timber or finishing birds over the decoys, the Short Barrel brings big performance in a small package.
PLEASE NOTE: We highly recommend double-looping your duck calls on your lanyard to avoid losing the insert or barrel.
Do not hesitate. Buy this call! I waited a while before I pulled the trigger and honestly wish I would’ve had it since the first cut of duck season. I love the Tomahawk and the short barrel is an upgrade to an already amazing call. I’ve been a 737 guy for 3 years now and I have to say, this is my new favorite call. A little easier to blow than the original, although the original was my favorite call before I got this one, and an extremely versatile call. Probably gonna be best for intermediate to experienced callers but a newbie could make it work due to the short barrel providing a little more control requiring a little less back pressure. Get one.
My son called and called all Christmas morning!

I bought the black and copper Tamohawk SB. I bought the 0.14 mil reed and I already own a .10 mil reed. The .10 mil reed is a little easier blowing the but if you can master the 0.14 mil then you’ll break birds as far as you can see them. Great raspy call for open blue sky days or even tucked into timber. Sounds pretty ducky.
