The 0.14 Mil Reed is our standard cutdown reed, designed to produce raspy low and high quacks with a low-end whine. Offering a stiffer feel, this reed delivers a signature raspy sound, making it ideal for hunters who prefer a more aggressive tone. It is the same reed used in our Original Tomahawk.
The 0.10 Mil Reed is thinner than our standard option, providing a smoother low to medium-range whine and soft, subtle quacks. This reed requires less air pressure and is built to perform in the low to medium volume range, making it a great choice for those who don’t push a lot of air through the call.
